Catalina Guesthouse w/ Hot Tub and Pool - Double Room

The Catalina Guesthouse is a modern, spacious, and bright 2 bedroom house with plenty of outdoor space that backs up to a beautiful greenbelt area to enjoy the Austin weather. Our guesthouse was just completed in 2021 and is now ready to welcome you to Austin! We are located in a quiet neighborhood in close proximity (10-15 minutes or less) to many of the iconic Austin attractions. My husband and I live in the main house with our two dogs, Teddy and Rupert.
Good to know
The living and kitchen area are filled with an abundance of natural light along with the view of the large lower deck and backyard space. The large sectional couch is the perfect size for up to six people to sit comfortably on to enjoy watching the smart TV or playing games. We also provide a comfortable queen-sized air mattress with bedding for an added sleeping arrangement for this area. There is a half bathroom accessible from the living area. Along the kitchen island, there are four spots for sitting and eating. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you might need including pots, pans, plates, silverware, glasses, coffee mugs, and other items. Please inquire if you have any questions! We have also left some dog treats in the kitchen area if you are interested in becoming Teddy and Rupert’s new best friends! You can access the outdoor deck from the living and kitchen area as well. This large wrap-around deck features an outdoor dining table for up to 6 people. When you walk down the steps you will find the grill as well as cornhole boards you can set up to play in the rocked landscaped area. The downstairs bedroom has a comfortable king bed, smart TV, white noise machine, dresser, full-length mirror, and its own bathroom. This large bathroom has a spacious shower along with a walk-in closet. This bathroom also includes the amenities of towels for each guest, robes with slippers, soaps, shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, hangers, iron, and iron board. The upstairs bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, white noise machine, full-length mirror, and closet. A full bathroom is located right outside and down the short hallway. This bathroom features a spacious bathtub with a showerhead and curtain. Amenities include towels for each guest, soaps, shampoo, conditioner, and hairdryer. The stackable washer and dryer are located upstairs as well. There is access to the balcony from the upstairs hallway. As soon as you walk onto this large deck, you feel like you are in a treehouse! You can relax and enjoy the atmosphere on the outdoor sectional couch. The pool/hot tub area is a shared space between the main house and the guesthouse. The pool is 5 feet at the deepest point. The additional fee to heat the hot tub is $5/hour. The pool can be heated for an additional $150/day and we must have 24 hours notice due to the time required to heat. We will calculate usage through our app and request payment through the Airbnb app at the end of your stay. Other Details to Note
We do use scented detergents (Tide) and Glade Plug-Ins in our home. If you experience allergies to chemicals/fragrances this may not be the best place for you or your family to stay. Feel free to ask us if you have any questions about this. Our two large dogs, Teddy and Rupert, will be in the backyard at times. Please let us know if you would like to keep your distance and we can keep them more confined to the main house. We want you to enjoy your stay to the fullest! This property is monitored by security cameras on the exterior of the home only. We have G-Fiber internet throughout the guesthouse with Wifi access information being provided upon arrival.

We are located in a quiet neighborhood in close proximity (10-15 minutes or less when driving) to many of the iconic Austin attractions such as SoCo (South Congress), the Austin Convention Center, 6th Street, Rainey Street, The University of Texas, the airport, and several South Austin breweries and local eats.
Guest Access
We do not need to meet you for you to get into the guesthouse and you’re welcome to arrive as late as you need to. You can follow the stepping stones along the right side of the main house to the front of the guesthouse. I will message you a code to unlock the front door smart lock using the keypad. That code will be good for the length of your stay.
